For light soil on an oven door, use dishwashing liquid or a mild all-purpose detergent and hot water. Do not use an abrasive powder, abrasive pad, or steel wool. Clean oven shelves in the dishwasher, or hand wash them. Always follow manufactuter's care instructions before cleaning the oven's interior. The type of oven you own will determine how you clean it.
